How quickly can Carcycle pick up my car?
We usually arrange car removal within 24–48 business hours of booking. In many cases, we can collect vehicles the same day, depending on your location and access.
Do I need to be home when my car is collected?
No. As long as our tow truck can access the vehicle and you’ve arranged the keys and paperwork, you don’t need to be present at pickup. We’ll transfer payment at the time of collection.
How do I get paid when I sell my car to Carcycle?
Payment is issued on the spot at pickup via EFT or company cheque. EFT payments usually clear within 24 business hours, in line with Victorian regulations (no cash payments are allowed for scrap vehicles).
What happens to my number plates and registration?
Before pickup, you should remove the plates and cancel the registration with VicRoads. If the car is already unregistered and you leave the plates on, Carcycle will securely scrap them at our premises.
