Our story started back in 1978. We saw great potential in the Golden Grove Supplies Store, which at the time included the Post Office, Fodder Store, Deli and Petrol Station in Golden Grove, SA. The primary business worked as a chaff-cutting operation, providing grain, hay and pellet feed to some of the most distant as Broken Hill and Alice Springs.
As years went by, Golden Grove Saddlery developed into a retail country clothing operation with less emphasis on saddlery. This is when we rename the business for the first time in Allingtons Country Clothing and Saddlery. Allingtons had relatively humble beginnings but we’ve come a long way.
In October 2001 we renamed Allington’s Outpost to reflect the larger variety of country clothing, work and western wear. Fifteen years later, in 2016 we launch our online store. Your response and support helped us make allingtons.com.au a viable and growing online shopping destination for customers from all over the world.
